The leaf blower

A few weeks ago I bought an electric leaf blower. I got an electric leaf blower because they are more powerful than the gas powered ones. This weekend we decided to try the vacuum attachment. Actually, Anna did all the work. She got covered in "leaf dust" (her words) and sucked up 10 bags of leaves!

Japanese Maple

We have a Japanese maple tree behind our house. Most of the year the leaves are a deep purplish color, but with the coming of Fall they turn a fiery red. It's really beautiful. When the sun shined through this afternoon, I couldn't help but get out the camera.
